Tips for your wedding invitation
- Send the PNG on WhatsApp to most guests, and print the PDF for elders and close family who still expect a card at home.
- Print the muhurat or phere time clearly, since many guests plan their arrival around it rather than the start of the evening.
- Follow the order your family prefers for names, usually grandparents in the blessings line first and then the parents who are inviting.
- Make a separate card for the Haldi, Mehendi or Sangeet from the same design, so each guest gets only the functions they are invited to.
Questions people ask
Can I add the Haldi, Mehendi and Sangeet to my wedding card?
Yes. Under More functions, add each one and it gets its own card in the same design, with its own date, time and venue. Download all the cards as one PDF or a ZIP of images.
How early should you send wedding invitations in India?
Send the main card about 4 to 6 weeks before the wedding. Guests who must travel or take leave should hear 2 to 3 months ahead, which is where a save the date helps.
Is this wedding invitation card maker free?
Yes. All wedding designs, the PNG and PDF downloads and WhatsApp sharing are free on AdGraam, with no sign up and no app.
Can I write my wedding card in Hindi?
Yes. Type the shloka, the names or the whole card in Hindi and those lines switch to a Devanagari font. Many families keep the Ganesh shloka in Hindi and the rest in English.
How do I print a wedding card made here?
Download the printable PDF, which is laid out as a 5 x 7 inch card, and take it to a local printer. Ask for one test print on thick card before ordering the full batch.
Should the bride's and groom's families send separate cards?
In most Indian weddings each family sends its own card, with its own names as hosts. Make one card, download it, then change the hosts and RSVP lines for the other family's version.
Can I add our pre wedding photo to the card?
Yes, choose a photo template and add a picture from your shoot. The photo is processed in your browser and only sent to us if you make a video invite.
